Recovering from Minor Injuries
The sports star had remained in the hospital while recovering from minor injuries, his management team confirmed on Monday. The commissioner for information and strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, announced via a post on social media that Joshua was deemed clinically fit to continue his recovery at home.
“Anthony and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to offer their condolences to his two deceased friends as they were being readied to be sent home,” Omotosho said.

The two men who died were identified as Latif Ayodele, Joshua's trainer, and Sina Ghami, a performance coach. Omotoso added that the boxer was “heavy-hearted and overcome with emotion over the passing of his two trusted companions.”
